After you find several potential candidates to fill an open position, you can screen the candidates to choose which is most qualified for the position. To screen candidates, perform the following:
Use this function to see if a candidate looks promising or poses a risk (for example, Warning could mean your company has had trouble with the candidate).
1. Switch to the Candidates module by clicking the Candidates tab.
2. Select a candidate with a color in the list area (for example, Maria Uhura is red).
NOTE: See Searching Candidates to find out how to make certain candidates appear in the list area

3. See the details area for the status of the candidate (for example, Maria Uhura has a Warning).

4. For more status details, double-click the name of the candidate in the list area.
5. In the dialog box, click the Internal use tab and see Status comments (1.).

6. For the candidate's information status, see Information status (2.) at the bottom of the Internal use tab.
Use this function to see detailed information about a candidate's resume, experience, references, etc.
1. Switch to the Candidates module by clicking the Candidates tab.
2. Select the desired candidate from the list area (for example, Maria Uhura)

3. In the details area, click a tab to see more information about the candidate (for example, click the Experience tab and click the Job experience button to see the candidate's experience).

4. Browse more of the candidate details by clicking the tabs and different buttons (for example, click the Contacts/Reminders tab and click the Contacts button).
Use this function to save a candidate to a position after choosing the most qualified candidate for the position. After assigning a candidate to a position, you can search for those candidates and send them e-mails about the position.
For example: You may forget which candidates called back about open positions or which candidates were most qualified for open positions. By assigning candidates to positions, you can quickly locate the candidates from the positions module and see their status or feedback about the position.
1. Switch to the Candidates module by clicking the Candidates tab.
2. Select the desired candidate from the list area (for example, Daniel Anderson).

3. In the details area, select an open position from the drop-down menu (for example, JAVA developer).

4. Click
to assign the candidate
to this position.
5. The red check next to the position shows you assigned the selected candidate from the list area to this position.

6. In order to find assigned candidates, switch to the Positions module by clicking the Positions tab.
7. Select the position from the list area and click the Assigned candidates tab in the detail area to view candidates assigned to the selected position.
